| At Apple I am creative lead for the online store's interaction design team. I have created new UI solutions by leading across groups (visual design, merchandising, product marketing, engineering), and through regular collaboration with the online store executive team. I lead by initiating discussions, brainstorming, and requirements-gathering, while utilizing functional specs, prototypes and conceptual models to communicate solutions. To understand the problem space, I developed strategic /functional requirements and conceptual models for the online store shopping experience. | ||

| At Yahoo!, I have worked as a senior interaction design team lead on projects with a multitude of complex Yahoo! properties, from the SBC Yahoo! Browser to Yahoo! Member Center. I developed the first concept prototypes for Yahoo! TV applications, setting the tone for Yahoo! in this new space and have been developing new approaches to Yahoo!’s search strategy. Throughout, I have worked closely with business development, product management, user research and visual & interaction design teams. Using tools that include detailed functional specifications and concept prototypes, I have created clear methods of communicating the value of the design process and the solutions it creates. | ||

| At Funny Garbage I was the creative lead and architect on a wide variety of website and interactive TV projects. My work addressed the diverse needs of clients and users across multiple platforms, and helped clients adapt existing brands and editorial voices to the web and TV. While creating a new working and design process for FG, I was also involved in all areas of the production process, from business development to final deployment and training. Clients I worked with ranged from Bloomberg.com to the New York School of Visual Arts. | ||

| As a multimedia designer at the BBC, I designed interactive pilots and interactive broadcast services, and was notably an integral part of the first BBC Wimbledon interactive broadcast. My work ranged from interaction design to programming the interaction for games and other complex ITV applications. I worked closely with content producers, broadcast designers and back-end technologists to create fully-working interactive models of services the BBC planned to deploy to their ITV platforms. | ||

| As a multimedia designer at Hardlight Multimedia I designed and architected CD-ROM interactive experiences. I worked closely with the content providers and visual designer to create compelling simple interfaces. This involved multiple skills, from creating motion transitions and 3D models to programming database back- and front-end interfaces to be used as the CD-ROM’s main portal for users to access valuable product information. | ||
